BEHIND THE LENS

 

​Hi my name is Mario, thank you for visiting my site. My studio is in my home in Sandwich Il. 

 

Like most photographers, I started taking pictures as a hobby. Then I became a student, trying to learn everything I could to make myself better. I enjoy shooting portraits as well as wildlife.

 

When it comes to portraits, "simplicity is my philosphy". By keeping an image simple, focus is drawn to my subject. I like to think my portrait style falls within the classic portrait range, while textured prints allow me to explore more of an artistic zone.

 

Now, photography is not just a hobby, and not just a job, it's my passion. Hopefully this is reflected in my work.

 

I work by appointments only on evenings and weekends.
